Contemporary French elegance.  These digital renderings were completed back in 2010 for a prospective restaurant client.  A sophisticated dining experience, our proposal juxtaposes the beauty of French Renaissance-style paintings and details with a sleek contemporary architecture. The downstairs bar welcomes visitors in with a dark, sexy vibe; part urban palace, part chateau.  Ascending the stairs, you spiral around a vertical wine storage conveyor that kinetically showcases the restaurant’s impressive offerings of wine.  The mirrored ceiling creates the illusion that the wine storage goes on infinitely.  Definitely a place to see and be seen, the main dining area wraps around an elevated inner sanctum—from within this private dining room, guests can enjoy glimpses of the other diners in the main dining space through the louvered, wooden screen—if complete privacy is desired, the louvers mechanically close. We had a great time coming up with the proposal!  Maybe someday, we will get to realize something similar…
